Danskinbuys.com is a site dedicated to selling Danskin's fine line of dancewear products.

We are a division of Affinity Markets, Inc and our company includes Skatebuys.com, an authorized Danskin dealer for more than 10 years.

Danskinbuys was created because we believed that one of our premier lines of dance apparel deserved its own focus. The owner's daughters danced in Danskin leotards and one skated in Danskin tights, practice pants and leotards. We trust their products and are proud to represent such a fine company as dealers.

All order processing, customer service and return or exchange processing is handled by Danskinbuys/Skatebuys. Please do not call the Danskin factory directly as they are not responsible for handling your order nor will they have any record of it.

All prices are in US Dollars.

Currently we ship only within the United States.

Credit Cards: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We also accept PayPal.

Returns and Guarantee: 15 day money back guarantee on any item returned unmodified in it's original packaging in "new" condition. New condition means unworn, tags must be on garments. All tights are final sale once removed from packaging - no returns or exchanges except for product defects.

For holiday orders, the return period will be extended through January 15th.

No restock charge for items returned for size or product exchange. 20% restock charge for items returned for refund except when we have made a shipping error. Refused items, except with our express written authorization, are subject to 20% restock charge.

If packages are returned to us for any reason except for mistakes on our part or with our express consent, you will be charged for both inbound and outbound shipping. You are responsible for original shipping on returned for refund orders, except for when we have made an error. You are responsible for return shipping for exchange. We will pay for one re-shipment on items returned for size. If we make a mistake on an order, we will pay for your return shipping.


To return an item for any reason: You must contact us by e-mail for a return authorization or call us at 1-866-361-9306. We will issue a Return Authorization Number and shipping instructions. Return the item with the original packing slip and the Return Authorization Number which we will supply you. We can not guarantee that we can credit you the purchase price if you do not receive a Return Authorization number. Returns shipped freight collect will not be accepted.

Orders are shipped on weekdays only.

No additional ground shipping is charged on back orders. Ground shipping is free for all orders in the Continental US (see below for orders outside the Continental US.) Domestic overnight, two day air or 3 day ground expedited shipping is available (NOT AVAILABLE ON FOREIGN ORDERS).

Expedited shipping will be billed as follows:

Next Day Air add $45 (up to 10#).
Next Day Air Saver add $40 (up to 10#).
2nd Day Air add $27 (up to 10#).
3 Day Select add $18.00 (up to 10#)

Shipments to AK, HI and PR will be billed as follows:

Ground shipping add $12
2 day air add $35
Note: 3 day select is not available to these locations.

Expedited shipping on packages weighing over 10# will be quoted individually. Be sure to give us a good daytime phone number if ordering expedited shipping on packages over 10#.

UPS counts BUSINESS DAYS for air shipping. Three-day select is three business days from the day shipped. Weekend orders ship on Mondays.

APO, FPO, Alaska, Hawaii, and US Possessions are subject to additional shipping charges regardless of order size. We will email you with an estimate of shipping charges and you will have an opportunity to cancel your order at that time with no penalty.

Inventory and Delivery Time: We ship from our own facilities in Delaware and New Jersey.

In stock items ship the same day that your order is received, if your order is in before 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Most orders received after 2:00 p.m. will be processed on the next business day. Orders received on the weekend (after 2:00 P.M. on Friday) or holidays are processed the following business day. Back-ordered items will ship within 3-5 days. We will notify you promptly if there will be any delays in shipping your order.

If you have any questions regarding the availability of a product, please e-mail us. We try to respond no later than the end of the next business day, except during peak season and the holidays.

Foreign Orders:

Currently we reserve the right to refuse shipping to countries not listed on our shipping list. If you do not see your country listed, please e-mail us Because of fraud problems, we must limit our shipping policies. Orders from non-US cutomers will be fulfilled without question if customers are willing to wire tranfer funds or use PayPal. Please e-mail us with your request.

Notifications: We will e-mail you when your order is shipped or if an item is back-ordered. You will be able to cancel back-ordered items without penalty at that time.

About packaging. We use recycled packaging wherever possible. This helps control our costs as well as being ecologically sound. We buy mis-print boxes from our supplier and re-use boxes from orders we receive. It may look funky, but it saves landfill space!

Security: We use state of the art "Secure Sockets Layer" technology. Danskinbuys.com is housed on Yahoo store and uses all of the security of one of the premiere portals on the web. Your credit card transactions are safer with this technology than they are when you hand your card to a wait-person in a restaurant!

We regret that we have to post this kind of thing, but it has become a business necessity in today's society.

Dancing is a sport. As with any sport, injuries, including catastrophic injury are possible. You should always seek out appropriate instructors and practice under supervision. Use common sense and practice within your ability.

Under no circumstances can we be held accountable for any injury which occurs while using equipment purchased from Danskinbuys.com or our parent company, Affinity Markets, Inc. If you are unwilling to accept this limitation of liability please do not purchase products from us.
